2025 Coed & Mens League Year End Meetings
The St. Thomas Mens and Coed Slo-Pitch Leagues concluded their 2024 seasons on November 10th, with the final league meeting hosted online via Facebook Live. The meetings were held online to allow all members of each league the opportunity to attend and participate in the discussion- not just team reps and League Executive Members.
During separate meetings, League Executive members and team representatives discussed the season’s outcomes, reviewed league progress, and went over future plans. While not all teams were represented at the meeting, those in attendance participated in constructive conversations regarding both the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The meeting notes highlighted key achievements, areas for improvement, and the overall growth of the league.
Both the Coed and Mens Team Reps were given the opportunity to informally vote on the decisions to amalgamate the separate League Executives into one cohesive St. Thomas Slo-Pitch Association (STSPA) Executive to better support the rapidly expanding leagues. The votes was held in the respective League Rep chat groups with both groups voting strongly in favour of combing together. The Womens League members will have the same opportunity prior to the start of the 2026 season.
